I'm currently waiting for google adsense to approve me..and I just wanted someone who's had experience with the service to explain to me exactly what it is. I know some of you are thinking " why didnt she just read up on it"..well I have. I just want to be answered in basic terms...

welcome to the the forums.. feel free to browse the other topics, there really isnt anything to say about adsense except for 'play by the rules'

In fact, never tell anyone you are earning money with them...family, friends, ANYONE.

Now, Basically.

Sign in, go to content and then find ad units, choose which ones you want to use, find a correct place for them then just cut and paste it into your code.

If you follow the form along when choosing your ads you will see how to blend them in, make channels, etc.

Really, it's easy.

P.S.
you might want to turn them off the other computers in your house by using your host file and don't allow the family to use yours.
