Ebay Redirect CPM Ads

Up until now I was getting a few CPM ads by small but reputable companies. Now I'm seeing CPM ads by no-name sites that simply redirect to Ebay keywords. How can this be if the minimum cpm is $2? I mean, I see this all the time with regular ads where I assume they bid 3 cents or so, but cpm ads? Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I do see ebay ads like 'You need shelter' that look like PSA's

When I refresh the page they are gone and replaced by text ads though.

Every Ebay new member "sign up" is worth at least $20, up to $45.

$20 pays for quite a few impressions. These are Ebay affiliate ads hoping for those "sign ups". Who knows, these guys may all lose money.

Perhaps an Ebay affiliate doing these ads will fill us in?

I guess the redirect is simply to bypass the ebay.com block so many here have added.

Don't be surprised if the Ebay ads shoot up even higher for the remainder of September.
Ebay have made a change to there affiliate payout schedule that comes into effect in October. The new scheme appears to be far less generous than it is currenty. So I would expect a few affiliate to try to go out with a big last ditched effort before the change comes ib.

I'm pretty sure if the new deal isn't fair - they will rework it. They seem to be on top of things.

I think you have to buy something or put a credit card on file to be a ACRU. Signing up isn't enough.

I think the new program is a rev share.
