Sites with 3000 - 4000 uniques per day

How much are you earning?

Hello, people with 3000-4000 unique visits per day, and around 8000 views, could you please tell to us your average in the Adsense program, for the purpose of comparision?

Note: This number refer to site stats, and not page impressions on google report.

Heck, my wife has a new site getting only about 100 uniques a day and she's scraping off $2-$4/day.

Then again, she had my help ;)

I can barely wait until she gets some serious traffic to see how it ramps up.

If you're getting thousands of actual visitors and earning only a couple of dollars a day it's time to seriously rethink what you're doing. Very possibly your traffic is just crap as the traffic needs to be targetted to be of any true value for getting click thrus.

Amen, I know exactly how you feel, it does NOT get any better, even if you increase volume.

Note: (There was a time when it went to $400 and times it dips to $60, I now have a good patch of gray hair on me)

$60/day for 55,000 user. *Shakes head in bewilderment

(BTW adsense is not posted in all frames, seeing penny CPM's is not my idea of a fun pasttime)

So completely wrong, it's difficult to find a place to start. Some sites put all the info you need on one page. Some sites serve as gateways. Some sites don't have AS ads on every page. Build from there...

I honestly think statistics like these are worthless, as others have pointed out already, the content of your site determines your CTR and thus revenue.

A photo gallery site is obviously gonna get huge amount of pageviews, probably in excess of 20 per visitor, but a site with niche content may get 1 pageview per visitor...

Why I shouldn't? I spend lot of work in my website, and lots of money on it too. Whats you problem? Why are you beeing agressive? My visitors like my site, I have a lot of good return from they. By the way, im averaging 3500 with 8000 loads, which is perfectly normal. Most of visits come from google searchs for a specific topics on internal content pages. They read the article and follow surfing in the next search result (another sites)

Many websites that are utility based in nature like a reference or mapping site will have a low pages per visitor. The users aren't there to surf - they have a specific task in mine and then leave. Ads have to be very targed as often utility based sites have low CTRs.

mlduclos, don't worry too much about what shafaki said.

If your visitors have expressed their satisfaction with your site, then that means more than any pageview/unique ratios in regards to whether your site is "bad".

The stats for my site aren't very impressive either. About 1000 uniques a day (less than 2000 page views). To answer your original question, my site earns about $1 per day.

ok, i'm convinced now that a 2 page per visitor average can be okay for some types of sites, done in a specific way.

now how about that guy who has a 9 yars old site with, i assume, updated news? how come he gets so low earnings after all that time! why is PageRank turning a blind eye to it despite all the talk about a sites longivity and how PR cares a lot, among other things, about a sites age ...

Rely mostly on subscriber base rather than adsense and my site(s) are in the kind of niche where I get pretty much the same crowd day after day. They get tired of the same google ads day after day and I try to keep them out of the way as much as possible.
