Stats updated every 30 minutes.

Did G make changes again?

Yesterday most of us experienced stats being stuck for hours. However, for the last few hours I checked my stats every 30 minutes and they were updated every time. Is G aiming for real-time stats?
Do you folks see anything like this?

Folks, my stats are now updated about every 15 minutes. Anyone else?

15 minutes seems to be about right. Occassionally they seem to be about an hour behind but even during slow update periods only longer than 1 hour once or twice in the past several months.

I think the stats were always refreshing at around 15mins, no? At least when I started which was in August of last month.

Hmm, my stats seems to update about every hour or so. You'd think it would be the same for everyone.

Talk about unnecessary waste of G's resources. Be nice guys. I login twice per day - I thought I was pathetic. Who cares how often they update stats - money's always there at the end of the day - regardless of how many times you check it

I am an addicted, habitual, uncontrollable - stat checker.

I estimate that I check the stats 30 times per day!

I check them in between each page of content I add, and that helps me to stay motivated to continue writing content. In short, I reward myself for writing by allowing myself to view the stats once a page is complete.

It depends, really, really on your earnings.
I don't think a guy doing a grand daily on adsense would wait till the end of the date to know how the earnings were.
However, if you are under $10.00, definitely you can afford to lose even a few days of earnings without affecting your living (hopefully).

get up, check the stats-check WW
work on new website-check the stats-check WW
clean house-eat-check the stats-check WW
write some more on new site, etc. etc. etc.

At this rate I figure my new site will be ready to launch aboooout 2015. AH me, guess I am an adsense stats AND WW addict!

However some people are constantly tweaking their site and want to get feedback on their efforts. Nothing wrong with that.

Also, I doubt the bandwidth from Adsense users is a blip on radar of total Google bandwidth. It's not like refreshing Adsense stats makes an angel fall from the sky.

Maybe I shouldn't bother to respond (to busy checking stats), but nonetheless;

Most of the time I do not check my stats at all cause I don't have access to the Internet where I work. When I am at home and working on my pages I usually check my stats about every hour. They were updated about every 3 hours. However, I started this post cause I suddenly discovered that my stats were updated every hour. As I result I checked more often for a couple of hours (as indicated in my original post, so I don't do this all day) and I discovered they were updated about every 15 minutes. Again, this wasn't the case until a few days ago, at least, in my account. So I thought perhaps G is converting to real time stats. A feature some of us would welcome cause it might help us to get a better understanding of what specific ad brings in what kind of money. Perhaps G doesn't really want us to know.

And yes the money will come in, regardless of checking the stats. But the money will also come in without you calling me names, so no real need for that is there?

What is so bad about checking stats?
Those are my stats and I treat them as I please.
As long as it is not against TOS of course...

More higher the income is, more frequent the stats are updated. IMHO
