Hello

I use Opera and it opens the last used sites when I start the program, so the page
[google.com...]
loads, but requires a re-login. It displays the login form, and If a submit, loads a page Not Found which contains the follow message

The requested URL %2Fadsense%2Freport%2Flogin.do was not found on this server.

Then, I need to go to adsense home page to effetuate the login.

Also Opera display an alert to the certificate of the https site.

Hi,

I have seen the same problem with Opera 8 for a while.

I *think* it may be an Opera bug rather than a G bug.

Do you have cookies enabled?

Hm, I tested on IE6 and worked too, I think is a bug in the opera password manager. Yes, I use cookies. Its annoying to resend the password every time. Adsense security policy forbid a "remember me" function, so I use the pass manager of my opera in desktop and enable the function "reload every 5 minutes".

No, Opera is the best browser ever. Mozilla still a promise. IE is a bug, out of question..

90% of the bugs submitted on my site are about opera browser. everything is a problem with that browser.

obviously your having problems while us FF and IE users are having none.. now which is better again? not to mention it renders pages like crap.

it's the only browser that i know with built-in ads! i can go on and on..

I dont have experienced any bug with Opera, this is the first I report. Opera have the best security track. Almost every Mozilla feature are brought first by opera, such google toolbar and tabbed windows.

Mozilla FF have weird bugs and you have to install extra modules. The tab support of FF is poor, it mess up the concept of "a tab" and a "new window". In default configuration, you always have some tabs and other program sessions opened. The default configuration sucks, and you have to be an expert to find advanced options. The download manager of mozilla sucks, while the DM of opera rocks. Mozilla have bugs in copy and paste. Have huge memory usage.

Opera is standard compilant. It renderizes the full set of W3 standards. Webmasters who made their site vising a specific browser sucks. The website must be developed to be validated in standards, and not in browser specifics behaviors. Opera dont invent tags and declarations such IE do.

Try to use the { position: fixed; } for a DIV in last IE. It simple dont support. Some special chars requires an extra attribute in font, while in Opera and FF dont. Ie dont have large configuration options. Ie password manager sucks. IE dont have resume in dowload. IE always is a security risk. Right now my IE is opening weird pages with Casino ads and other things I dont want. I will now run various programs to remove this.

See the Opera right click buttons. Everything is designed to the hard-net user. Where to find the "go to the url" in other browsers? One click less. The "search" to direct send highlited text to google. YOu dont have to install google tollbar, the integration is native. "reload every X minutes" rock. One click and images disappears. "copy image address" (in IE you must do properties, one click more... Copy page address (usefull in frames). You can open 20 webpages with less memory usage and in one single program window. You can save sessions. The bookmarks manager rocks. "copy email address" WITHOUT mailto: in a mail link. Rss reader support. "Paste and go" in form fields.

Comprehensive configuration section. Support for changes in look & feel, themes. Mouse gestures. Quick "Delete private data" option. You can right click in a button and put "open in background" without change you focus, so you can visit link later, after visit current page.

Im not gonna beeing verbous, im sure who understand web concept prefer opera.

Ok, isnt freeware, but the banner is not agressive. And they are giving free licenses in the 10th anniversary.

No, Opera is the best browser ever.

ROFLMAO

I've installed it and uninstalled it the same day for every version to date.

Someday soon it may mature.

If you base all your judges in a single day experience, maybe you're forming poor judger. If you consider only a aspect on a post and discard the arguments, you are not making discussion either. But you spam the thread with a secundary topic. Please behave.

maybe you're forming poor judger.

I seriously doubt it -

With every version I install I check a series of sites I use daily/weekly/monthly.

If any of them have anomalies like the ones you're seeing with Google's AdSense site that don't normally occur, I uninstall it.

I keep hearing how good it is, someday soon I may concur.
