checking friends adsense account

i was wondering if it is against the TOS or if i should be worried about checking a friends adsense account. he asked me for help in figuring out what everything means so i go on and check it for him.

i know having more than one account is against the TOS and i dont want google to see my IP on both accounts checking and think they are both mine.

our accounts are under different names, different bank accounts

No, I have several clients who run adsense on their sites and I check their accounts regularly.

If you are worried about it, check with Google, but I would not foresee any problems.
