Approx. 1 hour later I checked, and with no new clicks in that channel, the total $ earned had changed for the better by a significant amount.
This is taking place in the Summary... I see things like this from time to time in the advanced statistics, but never in the Summary.
So about 20 minutes ago I checked the stats and I recorded the total dollar amount that the summary had for my site as a whole for today, and I also recorded the number of clicks.
I checked just prior to writing this - and the total amount had changed to a slightly lesser amount with the same number of clicks.
The only reason I can think that this could happen is if they find a click to be invalid and disregard it - but that doesn't explain why I saw an increase in $ on the same number of clicks earlier in the day.
Either I am very unattentive, and just didn't ever notice this or something strange is going on.
I've just never tracked my stats as closely as I have been as of recent. I've been extremely hard at work and it is starting to pay off.
The ups and downs are frustrating at times. I think that I need to start analyzing larger time spans of data... before I lose my mind. How do you guys keep from freaking out while you're waiting for the "official" report to come through?
Perhaps it just takes time... I mean, I've been in the program just short of a year - but I just recently really started to bust tail on my websites. (Tired of answering to a half-wit at work)
