Does anyone know if adsense can be used on a site that shows listings from news sites, ebay etc through feeds? I know search engine results are not allowed but I'm wondering about drawing results from amazon, rss feeds, blogs etc and also having adsense.

I am talking about having headlines with a line or two of description below that are feeds and there would be several per page... also having adsense in right column...

It depends.

Imho, the problem is not with search results per se but with dynamic content that frequently changes. If it changes too often, the bot will not be able to detect a theme of the site - therefor adsense can't deliver targeted ads - therefor the success of campaigns decrease.

I don't see a problem with amazon feeds nor with (targeted) ebay listings in general. You say news snippets and that'd worry me a bit. News change often. However, if your pages that list all this stuff (ebay, amazon, news, blogs) do NOT change and are static once they are build, i don't see a problem with AdSense tos. But if they are not targeted to a theme and change their content frequently, i wouldn't put AdSense on them.
