Rule of Thumb for Revenue?

How much can I expect to make on Google?

Is there a general rule of thumb that anyone has found that is valid for a site with say 1M page views / month with a google adsense link unit in multiple places linking to relatively expensive topics? I'm trying to get a feel as to weather or not this is worth it to add the code...and looking for help figuring the potential.

Or if some of you could provide general traffic/ ad placement/ $$$ results.. that'd be very helpful ..

No. It can really depend on the type of site, what kind of traffic you get, where the traffic comes from, etc, etc, etc.
