From your experience... what tipe of ad performs better? A discret one (colored mostly like the webpage), or a bold one that catches your eye?

An ad that blends in with the content(same backgroundcolor) usually performs way better than a blatant, fluorescent colored ad(that catches the eye).
People tend to don't want to click on ads that look too much like ads.
Keeping it discrite is the best to go to get higher income and to avoid messing up your site.

There is no "one size fits all" answer to your question. Some sites get better results from blended ads, some from ads that stand out boldly.

Each publisher needs to try the various possibilties on their own site and see what works best for them.
