B) when someone mkaes a search and clicks any link
C) when someone makes a search and clicks a sponsored link

or in some other way?

Hi anks106 -

With AdSense for search, you are not paid when a user makes a search. However, if the user then clicks on one of the ads appearing next to the search results, you will receive payment.
