I don't post often, but I'm a regular reader on the Adsense forum. Unless I missed it, it's been a while since I've seen a thread on AdLinks. I used AdLinks at the bottom of my content pages sometime over a month ago. I removed them after a week because they were not serving many links. Usually one, but often none. This could be the fact that there aren't many well used keywords in my content area or that my site is only a couple of months old and I didn't have enough content.

So I would like to hear from people who have been using AdLinks. What have you learned and what are your placement strategies? How do they perform compared to your regular ads? Any tips that really improved or degraded performance would be helpful too.

A 5-link horizontal unit is currently my top performer for this month.
It is placed near the top of my page just under the horizontal site navigation.
Gets 1.0% CTR and currently $9.60 ePCM.

yeah, thats only because people think that are going somewhere on your site, not knowing they are clicking ad.. that is the only reason why they get a higher CTR.

No, the links are quite distinct from the site's navigation (different background colour). Mine is a white-hat site, I do not use tricks to deceive my site's users. Underneath the top navigation just seemed a sensible place to position the links.
