I recently tried to optimize one of my site, the clicks stayed the same but the earnings dropped over 85%! I reversed the changes and the earnings dropped even more!

Anyone experienced something like this before? And how did you recover from this?

If you change the content of a page, you may trigger Google to send generic ads until the mediabot again visits the site - which can take one to two weeks. That may have happened to you.

Still getting the same type of ads as before, I think the only way now is to redesign and have them on new pages?

One way around this is to change the size of the AdSesne ads. This, I believe forces the mediabot to come back and reindex the page.

I’d wait and give it a few more days, maybe even weeks. It’s near the end of the month and maybe it just a case of AdWords advertisers lowering their bids or going over budget on their accounts.
