What is your average payout on a click site wide?

Total money made -- divided by the number of clicks needed to get that amount.

Mine has gone down this month ... to 16¢ from last month's 19¢.

$970 / 494 clicks = $1.96pc

Only 0.2% CTR however :(

You have good potential there. You probably could make a LOT of money from that site.

Sadly my target audience ranges in the 16-22 year old age bracket, which have proven to be the least likely to click on adverts...
However, the usual session length of a visitor to my site is around 20 pageviews, so im generating a hell of a lot of impressions, to not so many clicks, averaging out around 0.4% for the month.

Today for example, ~300,000 pageviews, 714 clicks = 0.2% CTR, however the eCPM is $5.06, which is pleasant enough for me to not worry TOO much heh.

Did your average go down this month?

I think I lost about 16% of my income this month because of Google putting one ad in the space where 4 ads normally go.

Could you use a script to show adsense only on the first pageview - your ctr should soar.
There was a thread about filtering with scripts recently.

Exactly 10 cents as well. I do however have a CTR of 8% but very few impressions.

38c per click, CTR 22%

Up from last month's dire 29c per click, CTR 15%

In fact for months before last month it was within a couple of cents and a couple of percentage points of that. The only change I made recently was putting cute pics around Adsense ads.

I also put some pictures close to the ads, but it has not helped keep the clicks up because Google has taken most of the ads out of the ad blocks. I only have one ad running now where 4 ads use to run.

:(

I must admit they completely stuffed up the look of the page. I'm waiting for the new targetting code to kick in then I'm going to use only those adblocks that are designed for two ads. Two pics look fine with one large ad. When it looks stupid is four pics and three ads.

Hey MyGen,

With your EPC and my CTR we should take charge of each other's sites for a week :)

Haha, If I logged in and saw 22% CTR, I think might possibly fall off my chair ;)

The worrying thing is, since joining this forum, I've read far too many 'I've been banned!' posts for my liking, makes you kinda paranoid, especially as my website is now my only source of income heh!

I created adsense channels for different countries, the payout for American traffic is sometimes 5 times what i get for a cdn visitor, especially for financial terms.. Search engine updates can have a HUGE impact if your country ratio changes.

I'd fall off my chair if I saw your average CPC :)

My CTR is not that difficult, and I'm not doing anything special, but I'm in an area where people are willing to spend money regularly and there are a lot of snake oil salespeople.

My site is kinda unusual. I try really hard not to sell things and just tell the truth. This means the people who get to the bottom know what ads are likely safe to click on and buy from because I just spent an entire page teaching them truth from fiction, and the people who just got to the site and wanted more of a sales pitch click the ads at the top. The Ads at the top are for exit traffic and are Adlinks, and Adsense with pics. I use both types because some people like pics and some like text.

I'm ruthless about filtering ads even slightly off topic, specially ones likely to end up at the bottom, while I'm happy to keep two generic, higher CPC ads at the top.

I was just about to start a thread asking the average click price for August!

Mine is about 31 cents these days.

With all the talk about "high paying" keywords, I sure am happy with my income and CTR.

Does anyone else make a substantially higher AVERAGE per click when looking at their aggregate payout over a month?

My average CPC = 16 cents. Brand new site in the educational sector. Still very few visitors per day.

12 mini sites and 3 "medium-sized" sites avg:45 cents, CTR 6.4. The best CTR was %21.5 and $1.84/click. The worst 1.2% and .35/click.

I average about 1,000 clicks/day, so you better believe I'd LOVE to be getting anywhere near what some of you are reporting for earnings per click. 45¢/click would make me a rich man! Alas, I'm only seeing about 10¢/click, but I guess I shouldn't complain. Still, it's nice to dream...

I am in 0.03 - 0.06 cents a click hell on my main site. It is unbelievably frustrating losing someone off the site for 3 cents..

I make peanuts with this, I guess it's just not a very good niche to be in.

If I get 0.10 or 0.12 cpc on one given day it's like heaven, I can't imagine earning $1 or $2 per click...

Just got to keep expanding into other niches....

In july it was 11 cents.
In agust it is 12 cents

How to improve cost per click? What are the points we have to consider here? On which areas we have to work on our website? Please suggest me..
