Age limit to open an Adsense Account

Is there minimum age requirements to open an Adsense account

My cousin who still is a minor who runs couple of hobby website in niche content area asked me weather he can join the adsense.
I went to adsense guidelines but could not find one. Is there any limitation of age or how would they find it out even if you apply for adsense account even if you are a minor.
Any insight on this will by appreicated.

Google knows everything ;). I don't recommend lying about age in order to get into Adsense. Find a trusted adult to sign up for an Adsense account for your cousin. It is much more simple that way.

You have to give your Social Security number for tax purposes. I am pretty sure they can find your age that way ;)

If you are in US that is fine. But if a minor adsense account holder is outside US how will they find out.

Actually I think Google allows you to use a guardians information if you are under 18.

Although I don't recommend any teenagers get Adsense. It is a significant responsibility with some pretty long-term reprecusions if you screw up.

I started my site at age 15 and made a good amount of money under my parents name until I turned 18. Definitely tell your cousin to give it a shot just under an adults name. Worst thing you want to happen is to make a lot of money and then have google not pay because you're underaged Much better than flipping burgers and looks a lot better on a resume.
