A plug-in for the new side bar allows for constant monitoring of your AdSense results. Really neat feature.
First download the new desktop 2. Without it the AdSense monitor will not load.
Once you have the sidebar make sure the AdSense plug-in has been downloaded and installed.
If it didn't ask you for your log-in and password then just click on the options tag in the drop down menu to add them in.
It should work now.
If I manually click the reload now button it just stays the same.
In order to get it to change I have to open an IE page, log in to AdSense and when the page is open click the reload now button on the plug-in.
Yes, the log-in info is correct on the plug-in.
That kind of defeats the purpose.
Hopefully this is just a temporary bug.
Adsense Status is designed to only show information for Adsense for content. Showing information from Adsense for search is a random bug.Adsense Status should also be automatically updating properly every 15 minutes. Because it uses IE to get the information, some computers have had problems with cached pages being processed, thus showing old information.
Both of these issues will be fixed in the next release of Adsense Status, which should hopefully be this weekend. A complete rewrite of the information processing backend is in progress.

"Revenue checker for adsense" isn't freeware and the support "team" is on vacation. Which is a shame because the graphs and charts that it has are cool, but I'm not going to pay for software without support for simple problems that arise like this one. I'll just let the trial expire.
Sysense works just fine, is free, and already has an updated version with a fix for the login errors.
This Care Bears app, I haven't tried yet, but will now.
The other tools allow you to set if you want it to check once per 15 minutes or once per hour.
I prefer once per hour, but I think this one does it every 15 minutes.
To me that seems way too often and even though this tool is sort of endorsed by Google via their desktop search client, they also said they don't want too many automated queries sent too often.
In the future, I'll consider adding an option to change the update window, though you won't be able to set it below 15 minutes.
