mixing https and adsense

I'm experimenting with placing adsense ads on my estore (which is https - secure). The problem is that because there is both secure and insecure sources of data on a page, browsers pop up warnings of the insecure data, which would put off many potential customers.

I don't control the e-store server (but I have permission from them to ad adsense ads). Is there any way of serving up adsense ads on pages that are secured (via https)?

What about only encrypting the checkout pages where buyers fill in their payment data?

I assume you do not want to place ads there :)

It would also reduce server load greatly. (https is processor intensive)
