Now I have it running on my site quite happily. When I say this I mean I have made the grand total of about 15 cents so far.
Firstly I decided to go with text ads. I think the graphics I use make an impact in the articles. Anyway I was just looking at one of my articles and an image showed up. Should this happen?
I think I spelt problem wrong as well - I hate laptop keyboards!
Second I have 2 ad groups on one of my article pages. On that article I did yesterday only one ad group is showing; the top one. Now is this because google hasn't been to the site to check the content? (i dont know the exact term for this!) or is it the 2 ad groups?
I hope these aren't really simple things!
You can choose image only as your default BUT for each ad you may choose image and text so check the source code of the ad that showed the image, if you turned it on accidentally then it will say text-image, in that case just go back and redo the ad, copy and paste.
On the part about the no show, try redoing the ad using some contrasting color, upload it and if the color shows up then it is "live" just waiting for the mediabot. :-)
Then you can change the color back and wait awhile for Googles mediabot to get to it.
