adsense for RSS feedback?

Is anyone currently using adsense for RSS on their site? Any comments to share? I signed up for the beta but haven't been selected (yet).

BTW is there anyway to see how many people are getting the atom.xml file from my site if I don't have access to the raw logs? Google suggest 100 subscribers are needed before you can join, but I have no way of knowing.

I wont run adds on my RSS feeds - as I see them as a traffic driver to send people to my website, and it is once they are on my site that I try to "sell them" advertising.

I would personally be rather annoyed to have ads appearing in both an RSS feed, and the web site itself - that is overkill.

Just my personal opinion.
