Hey all,

Looking at my stats, I've noticed that most of my sites seem to have more traffic and slightly better click through rate for Tuesdays. Is this a universal trend or just based on site topic?

What is your best day of the week?

Sundays and Mondays seem to show the best organic traffic. -Larry

:) safe enough to say it looks like a universal trend.... as I dont think you guys all run the same kind of sites.

Either Tuesday or Wednesday produce the most page views for my site and thus produce the greatest Adsense earnings. Earnings per day are somewhat evened out over the week however by the fact that the lowest traffic producing days (Saturday and Sunday) have a higher eCPM.

I had to be the one who started this thread only to find this week was an exception :)
Just checked my stats for yesterday and noticed my best day yet (in history), Tuesday was my second best - so in terms of earnings, I guess it could be any day of the week, just depends on cost per click etc.. but I stand by the fact the on average Tuesdays/Wednesday Morning (US time) have the most traffic.... for me.

Better traffic on Tuesdays for me too, midweek is good in general because a lot of my visitors are doing their thing from the workplace...

This doesn't always mean better CTR or earnings for me though. Some of my best days have come when I would have least expected them.

It's an intangible I've given up trying to figure out.

Tuesdays for me also, with Mondays a close 2nd place. eCommerce site with a lot of traffic and buyers' email from their workplace. Naughty-Naughty! Now get back to work.

Mondays are high too but like as The Donster said Tuesdays rule.

I have a theory about that. People trying to make a good show of it on Monday so they get some work done. By Tuesday they're already feeling flush and secure for the week so they start to coast. "I got my work done... enough of it anyway.. and now I can play for a while" I like that attitude. It's one I've adopted myself.

This carries on into the rest of the week until about noon time Friday. From that point on they're just thinking about getting out of there and gearing up for the weekend, which is my worst traffic of all, second only to holidays.

Thank God for employees wasting their employers time.... I love em all...
