Put Google Adsense on site at start - or wait until it is established?

I'm about to publish my first site with about 100 pages of original hard working. (and still sweating)
I guess I'm not gonna recieve too many visitors for the first couple of months.
Is it recommendable to sign up at adsense and get going right from the launch?
Or should I wait a couple of months, get some links and see how everything is going on my site and then adsense it?
Sorry about the silly question, I'm just trying to figure out if there´s a recomendable process to do it.

I waited for the search engines to index my new sites before I put any ads in that.

I think it is better to concentrate on promotional work of the site now and put the ads afterwards

I'd go right from the start. Why wait? I mean what do you gain by waiting?

You're putting the ads on your site to make money. If you want to wait and make money later, then wait. If you want to make money now, then put up the ads.

This is strictly dealers choice. Just make sure your site is complete before signing up.

You gain a better smart pricing by waiting. Obviously, if your site is already established, your clicks will convert better and hence wil fetch a better return in terms of smart pricing from day one.

are you sure?

I've noticed from many sites, that smart pricing actually kicks in after the site starts getting more traffic... when the traffic is relatively low the price per click is higher. But I will not state this a fact, as it's only my personaly experience and as far as I know, google have not declared how smart pricing works! Have you got some inside knowledge?

This kind of question always makes me wonder what is the point of the website? I mean, is the website the labour of some meaningful topic you have struggled and sweated to put together which has extremely good copy and content.... and then you decided that it would be a good idea to earn some money off it with Google Adsense?

Or - did you just want a website with a particular niche subject to earn lots of money with Google Adsense?

Depending on your original reason for the website will depend on how you build it, and whether or not you put Adsense on it straight away.
