Possible to lose clicks if you put ads on another site?

Lets say I get 140 clicks a day from site A. Then I put ads on my other site B.

Now, both sites A and B combined get 80 clicks a day. Is this a coincidence? Or did I lose clicks because I put ads on my other site B? Is this even mathematically possible?

IMHO, yes. However, you should give it some time before making any conclusions. How long were the ads displayed on the site B?
