Okay in the last days as usual I have added several news articles to my site... In the past when I checked the adsense code in preview mode I usually got a PSA and the ads would appear only after a few hours...

However, of late ... NOTHING ... no PSA... no ads... no nothing... I don't believe it could be a fault of my coding... as I've checked that over and over again.

Can someone please offer me some explanation why this is happening .... thanks

elvisfan :
Just try this :

First open a new browser , visit google.com and then just type your webpage URL ( which you are saying no ads has been displayed ) in the same browser withouth closing it, i think you might find your ad, because sometimes it happens to me.

I have just found that my main site is only showing 2 adverts, no matter what page I'm looking at.

However when I looked at it through an anonymizer like the cloak, decent adverts show up. I'd recommend checking your site through something like that to see how it looks from another perspective.

(Though i'm still not sure why i can't see adverts from my own ip)

its google, not you... its happening to me as well, and starting to piss me off too..

sometimes the ads show sometimes they dont, just blank.

i know its not the site because they show up on other places and this just started happening a couple days ago..

anyways, yahoo just invited me to join their publishing network so no loss..

im already tried of the way google does things, such as :

public service ads which you cannot block.. W T F free advertising? if i don't earn from it i don't want it on my site.

"Ads by gooooooooooogle" is starting to get annoying more than ever.. you look at the ad and that is the first thing that stands out. 125x125 block with this just looks ugly.

i could go on and on but i'll save my time and put this effort in setting up my yahoo account.

Thank goodness... I thought after all this time I had forgotten how to drop in codes on my site..

As for PSA I don't understand why I should deal with them when they are USA based yet a lot of my ads are Aussie based which I personal hate...

Although my site is generated from Australia most of my visitor are from the USA and Europe.... only mere 3% of my total visits come from Aussies

Now as for ads now showing and getting blanks I think is BAD business practices... I'd rather for hair-loss ads than have a blank square next to my text content...

Just wondering has this "no ads showing" ever happened before... thanks

It happened on one of my most visited pages that is updated daily. I emailed google and politely asked what was happening and discribed the page and was told with the changing content it was hard to target it.

That would have meant PSAs right? But no, just blank spaces. eventually they seemed to resolve the problem, took a few days, and now all seems to be well.

Maybe a polite email may get you some help also.
