account shows clicks, but no money WHY?

due to repeat clickers or what? ADSENSE SUGGESTION!

I've noticed before, on some of my sites that I'm developing, or having developed (not indexed in engines or anything yet) that when viewing adsense stats it will say one or two clicks, but no money.

I'm assuming that either I clicked the ad, or my programmers did, or something.

Anyway, does this mean that Google recognizes the IP address and just doesn't give credit for the click?

This is in no way a complaint.

In fact, I WOULD LOVE to be able to input an IP address for G to ignore. This would allow me to click the ad without worry of click fraud or anything like that.

For some reason, on my main site, the url of the sites are not being displayed. So, to find out which websites' ads are being displayed, I have to right click the ad, click properties, and then scroll all the way through the HUGE url generated to find the domain of the advertiser.

I can't just click the link, cause I don't want to get booted for click fraud. I would never click a link just to make a buck, it's not worth it, and besides, if I click that link, and that site is tracking clicks, then the conversion performance of my site would go down, bringing me down in google adsense revenue (isn't that how that works?) and possibly causing the advertising site to block ads from being displayed on my site (equally as bad).

So, what's that all about?

Also, if anyone knows, will Google ever implement something where you can input IP's to be ignored? It would be very useful.

2 possible reasons:

a) Either someone clicked on your charity ads (aka: Public Service Ads) which pay $0; OR
b) Someone clicked on an image ad that does not pay per click, but per every 1000 impressions.

the question in that case is, why the hell do they add those clicks to the total? it only serves to confuse and annoy publishers, particularly as it is worthless to us.

It gives the publisher the possibility to see if there are invalid clicks, and inform AdSense support of it before AdSense support contacts the publisher (...with the dreaded email).

invaid clicks on a zero cents payout? hhmm that doesnīt sound very logical...canīt imagine them kicking you for someone clicking 50 times on a PSA that costs them nothing and pays even less ;)
