I think this is against TOS. .. what do you all feel?
Looks like a cheap trick which other ad network had used, but i never expected an adsense member would do this.
Do you think this is worth reporting?
Secondly, can they contact Google and quote an excerpt from the reply, so that we can all see what the official line is?
Thanks.
That way, instead of this folder degenerating into a hotbed of myth and dark rumour we can all continue to benefit from group-learning based on facts and reality.
AdSense ToS prohibit publishers from modifying the AdSense code (including JavaScript) beyond the options available on the ‘Ad Layout’ page. Although it’s hard to tell without seeing it myself, it sounds from your description that this site is not adhering to AdSense program policies.
If you ever wish to report a site, feel free to email adsense-abuse@google.com.
Cheers,

Actually to the letter of the law, this is no different than using css to position an ad, which is acceptable. None of the original cosde is altered so still within the TOS, however the presentation of the ad placement has been automated and animated. Sounds creative to me...lol...and whoever did this is walking that narrow line along the top of the fence:)
One thing I love about the net...there's always someone pushing on the boundaries:) Might fall under the "don't draw undue attention" policy but how can you critisize creative people:)Looks like time to dig out that old dhtml book:)
According to this guy on the forum Google answered that it was currently not against the TOS. Better make sure and ask Google though if you want to use this technique.
