The pale green paper from the California comapny with the New York bank has just made it's monthly arrival here on mainland Europe (one of the "old European" nations), much to my surprise with a postmark from Sweden.

Just though you'd like to know.

Similar experience in Australia.

I receive a check in Australian dollars, drawn on an Australian Bank posted from Sweden as well.

Bizarre!

drawn on an Australian Bank

An Australian bank? All my checks have been "payable" at a New York (USA) Citibank.

I selected to be paid in Australian dollars instead of US dollars when AdSense first brought out local currency payments.

My Australian bank was giving me grief over how long the check would take to clear and they wanted to charge me heaps!

As soon as I switched - perfect! Check drawn on Australian bank and clears in 3 days, irrespective of the amount of the check.
