Is there a case where your check bounce because Google doesnt have fund? I`m just worry about my check. The bank said it takes 25 working days to clear and I already have two checks deposited.

I don't think you need to worry about that. If Google is going bust I think you would hear it just about everywhere on the Net, television news etc etc. The bank clearing system is simply an accounting system between banks and 25 days is not that unusual for banks from different countries. Try to get direct deposit if your country is supported

Thanks. I like your idea of depositing payment directly and our country is supported by Google. But depositing it in dollar makes me very amuse. You know, our country's economy and political system is very unstable and having a dollar deposit makes a win-win scenario. lolz

Don't worry jcmiras,

Google is a huge company in US.
Intelligent people are running the company. They will never let the company go bust.

Google's Cash Flow for AdWords/AdSense is very good. They get the money from the advertisers as soon as possible and pay the publishers as late as possible. So Google has lot of money in the bank. See how long it takes for you to get the cash in your bank account for your earnings in a specific month. It would at least take 3 months. Which means Google has several months' AdWords income saved in the bank.
Hopefully. :)

Maybe jcmiras should be worrying about his bank, not about Google. :-)

It will take time for the cash to arrive as the check has to be sent back to Google's bank for then to remit the finds to your bank.

You are outside the US? Doing a currency conversion? Assuming you have good credit, speak to your bank's business section - they should be able to negotiate the check for you instead of sending it for collection. Negotiating basically involves your bank "buying" the check off you, so you get the funds immediately and the bank will keep the received funds from the check when it arrives. Banks thrive on volume so the fees usually aren't too high (depends on your bank - shop around to get a good deal).

I remember you're from the Philippines. The key is to develop a relationship with your bank. A friend of mine banks at a PNB branch in Manila and her Google checks are credited to her account the same day. The bank does not make her wait for the check to clear. She's been with them for several years and has a long-standing dollar account with that branch.

The more regular your check deposits, the greater emotional relationship you develop with them. And it's the Philippines, where who you know really counts :o)

Actually, the amount immediately appear on my passbook after i deposit it. However, the transaction was labelled as "non-booked" because it is not yet cleared BUT it already gained some interest. So what does it mean?

The best place to ask that is your bank. They know their policies best :o)

Intelligent people run many companies...

AOL Latin America files for bankruptcy protection after losing $1 billion

Kodak lays off an additional 10,000 employees

I won't even mention old news like Enron, Worldcom, etc.

For the moment, we're getting money.
