Anyone get a big jump in earnings today?

I had x dollars around noon today, a check 20-30 minutes later and I had 3x. CTR/impressions/clicks held stable for this time of day, but CPC went high.

I've noticed this before, but not to this extent. I'm beginning to believe that sometimes clicks "carry over" into the next day or two.

Worst CPC in weeks, less then 50% then my average, which has been stable within 5% up or down over two months now.

I had the exact same thing as JohnKelly. After two down weeks, finally a big kick up!

Fluctuations like that happen all the time so I would advise to consider your figures on broader timescales than a few minutes or even a few hours.

It's easy to go from 10 cents to 30 cents in 20 minutes but much more difficult to go from $100 to $300 in that time frame. So the lower the overall earnings the less you need to worry about the % of fluctuation during the course of the day.

Killroy, I see the same thing. The CPC certainly looks like it's dropped pretty much across all publishers. See [webmasterworld.com...]

My earnings used to be stable too. It's not a five figure sum per month but definitely a healthy four figure dollar amount and for the last few days it's dropped by about 50%
