Can i show adsense ad in my forum after every two or three post?

If can, then what is the best ad type for display?

Thanks.

Please don't!

I just quit an otherwise good forum for just that reason! IN YOUR FACE advertising turns me completely OFF.

When I am fully expecting to see an answer posted and this "thing" rolls up in its place I just backclick out and leave---for good.

Keep in mind that there is a TOS-governed limit to the number of ad units you can have on a single page.

i appreciate your opinion but isnīt that a little drastic?
i mean what difference does it make if the ad is at the top of the page or the side or displayed as a forum post? it is still one ad block! there are anywhere between 10-25 posts on an average forum page so i donīt think that one little ad block which takes you 0.2 seconds to scroll past is a cause for quitting a good forum.
how many huge signatures with images that are repeated everytime the user posts do you see? quite a lot on some forums :)

because it is distracting from the subject you are reading and detracts from the user experience...at least for me. I am a publisher but when I rarely get a complaint about ads or placement I will run it down and correct it. Ads on forums are fine, just not in the threads I am viewing.

That's my right and perogative, others may have a different way of thinking, fine, I will surf on and they can stay. I am sure one loss won't bring the board down, but are you sure there arn't many more out there like me who won't tell you and they just keep on trucking along?
