No clicks, but I have earnings

Hi all,

This morning, due to hosting network issues, my site was down for about 3 hours. When it went back up I checked adsense and saw I had earnings.

Not just earnings, but all my channels showed money in the eCPM column, usually it's only the channel that had a click.

So I'm a bit confused, as of now, I have earnings & clicks associated 2 channels, but 7 other channels have earnings but no clicks.

Any clues on what this means?

the current days reports can be off a little, they match up after the next day starts, someone said that G use several servers for the different areas, and they are not in sync sometimes.

Also, image ads don't show clicks, but earn based on impressions.

I don't use image ads. I could be wrong, but I got the feeling my site being down threw something off, I guess I'll know tomorrow after the dust settles.

image ads don't show clicks, but earn based on impressions.

You may be showing CPM ads so you see earnings but no clicks. The above is a misconception - CPM ads come in BOTH text and images, and image ads can be BOTH CPC and CPM depending on the advertiser. Check if you are showing "PSA-like" text ads that fill the entire ad unit, those are CPM ads.

When did this start? I don't remember checking anything for CPM ads and since the 20th been making a small fortune for NO clicks. I was just looking over the reports for the past week and seeing all this extra in the earnings.

In addition clicks are coming out to $6+ per click as well. Is this smart pricing in play? IF SO, I LIKE IT.

When did this start?

Site targeted CPM ads program was in beta around April, but it was available only to select marketers. It was then expanded around June 20 to all advertisers.
