My partner in my website wants to have his own adsense account, and he wants to put 2 ad unit in the pages, one for him and the otehr for me... I don't know is it ok to put 2 adsense accounts on the same site? The page will contains no more than 2 ad units.

Thanks.

No way, don't do it. I'd suggest setting up channel stats. One channel for your ad unit, one channel for his ad unit on the same account and give the account login information to your partner as well. That way you both can check out the stats on both ad units. Just my advice. Good luck.

It is possible to do this but you would need to get permission from Google first.

In addition, You agree that while You may display more than one (1) Ad Unit on each Site Web page, You shall not display any Ad Unit on a page that contains Ads associated with another Google AdSense customer (e.g., Your Web hosting company), unless authorized to do so by Google or such other AdSense customer, if authorized.

Abbeyvet is right... I wanted to do this at one point (early 2005, things may have changed since then!) and contacted G about it.

They informed me that the AS policies do *not* prohibit revenue sharing or placing multiple codes on a site; however, they did *not* encourage or endorse the practice.

I took the latter as: "If anything goes wrong, it's *your* responsibility" and finally decided to look for another solution.

I recently emailed Google about this very issue - in the last couple of days - and the reply contained nothing to the effect that they discouraged the practice.

They did point out that every publisher is responsible for the content of a website on which their ad code is placed, as is always the case anyway. So you are responsible for where your code appears and that if any site you placed it on was in contravention of the program terms your account would be affected.

So while it is allowed, it would be wise to be very, very certain of what is happening and being done at any site your ad code is on and also at any other site that the owner of the code on the same page as yours uses adsense on, lest you be guilty by association.

I also think it would be a bad idea to do this without contacting them first, even though the terms say that either Google or the site owner need to give permission.
