What do we want from Adsense?

Here's my top items for a wish list:
  1. Option to open in new window
  2. Ability to conditionally show adsense based on goe-targetting/language
  3. If there arn't enough ads that damn box should shrink to fit! ;)
Any other suggestions?

Absolutely second the motion for open in new window - except of course that I don't think it will happen. See, from Google's point of view it's probably reducing the effectiveness of the ad.

My big beef is Javascript. See previous topic that I raised it in :-)

What i would really like to see is clicks for different sites.

on which note, I just got an email from Adsense during a discussion about me being turned down for a second adsense account for a different site, where they stated they are currently working on a feature to allow an account owner to track different sites through one account.

Great info, confirms what we suspected, but is nice to hear it from the horse's mouth.

I courrently have two sites on my account and although one has 80% of the traffic, I often wonder if the other one has more than its share of CTR.

My biggest wish is turning into a wish for some transparency. Something that will help me gauge whether I should stick with AdSense if/when a viable alternative becomes available. Something beyond educated (and uneducated) guesswork to explain sudden increases in PSA's or overall declines in revenues (with or without changes in PSA's).

A couple of months ago, I was of the impression that Google's lead into the space of contextual advertising would make it difficult for companies like Overture/Quigo to enter this market. However, if the competitors offer greater transparency, and a greater ability to discern and respond to trends in CTR and income, I will be tempted to try them.

The terms of exclusivity as far as I understand them are restricted to a page. I think it makes perfect sense for a publisher to try other advertising options especially if their livelyhood depends on their site(s)
