I am trying to insert a google ads box into an article that i am publishing on my php-nuke site.

Question 1) will google allow this
Question 2) When i have tested it i get told that my nuke site wont allow javascript, so is there any way around this?

Cheers

Yes, many sites use this technique.

not only do they allow it, they basically encourage it. do a google search for adsense optimization tips and visit the google page about this. you will find proven ideas there.

Ahhh! The Holy Grail for Nukers!, I've been trying to remedy this for a month now. I'm interested at what you'll find.

It is indeed the holy grail,

I have someone working on it at the moment, i will let you know if we have any luck.

We are also working on a mod re-write that has the article description in the URL, something i would imagine is also something that Nukers have struggled to do thus far.

Hi deano6410 –

I just thought I'd follow up with answers to your questions :)

First, you are welcome to place ads in PHP-nuke sites. Also, as your fellow publishers mentioned, placing the AdSense code within an article can actually be an effective way to increase your site's click-through rate.

Second, AdSense is compatible with most PHP sites despite containing JavaScript variable declarations. If you'd like more information about using AdSense on a PHP site, I recommend the following AdSense support page:

[google.com ]

Good luck!
