Hi Guys

Does SmartPricing effects certain pages only? or whole website? or a whole AdSense account?

I had a few tricky things going on a domain which earned me alot initially, but then Smart Pricing stopped my monkey business ;-)

Now the same domain has become a very very informative website and a very genuine one with many informative articles and everything SEOed and bla bla. And I am going to launch it on a good scale now. It will concentrate over AdSense and affiliates only - NO OTHER PURPOSE.

Should I change the domain and then launch it? Or is it okay to launch cause I have stopped malicious activities.

An apt analogy considering the rollercoaster swings of the airline industry.

Find a few pages that display different keywords that get some traffic and put custom channels to watch just those pages. See if the EPC prices are the same as what you're getting for your site averages. Focus on building more pages that give you the higher payouts. That should build up some resistance to Smart Pricing.

I've no problem thinking that Smartpricing is all of the above - account-wide, website and page-based. It seems to me that it wouldn't take much to assign a value of zero to one to every adsense page where the value of 1 gives the full payout for an ad click and the values towards 0 give less, down to nothing. Continuous monitoring of Smartpricing details on Google's part would enable constant revision of the Smartpricing factor for each adsense page, wouldn't it? This makes it less a penalty and more... well... smart pricing.
