I keep getting a 502 server error when trying to log in to Adsense... as of right now... Is anyone else, or is it just me?

I got a message about the certificate being expired (or some such - didn't pay much attention to it) about a half an hour or so ago and... same as above (in Australia)

how much time webmasters would save if only they check their stats when receiving their checks

What is the fun in that?

Also how do I know if I can afford the "big breakfast" instead of the "egg Mcmuffin"?

I always knew our combined stat checking addiction would eventually bring those servers to their knees. :)

PS: It works fine for me now.

stat checking addiction

Worse than cigarettes. The withdrawal symptoms were terrible this morning.

The moment my eyes open in the morning, the first order of the day is to check Adsense. When it's down, it's like my world has turned upside down. Adsense is my uppers - much better than any prozac in the world :o)

What's with the incripted code they want you to send when their server is down?

the last time this happened, we ended up with a new TOS to sign. i think g does this on purpose whenever they make some sort of big change to the system. be interesting to see if my theory holds water this time around, and if so, what the changes will be.

The last few times this has happened, it has been quite consistent with an update of some sort for either AdSense or Adwords. So AdSense might not see a change, but Adwords might.

If it's down to add stats for each site in the account I don't mind waiting until tomorrow :D

If I understand the other posters correctly, they get a 502 when they try to log in.

In my case, I can log in just fine (and see stats for the day/week/month etc.), but I get a 502 when I try to view "Payment history" --it hangs for half a minute, then I get the error message. Has been like this for (at least) the past three days. (I didn't check before --but it's "that time of the month" now...).
