How long do they usually take?

How long do people find it takes for image ads to start working properly. We introduced them to one of our sites for the first time a few days ago on popular topics but still currently showing public service ads.

If it is an ad inventory issue, you might continue to show PSAs if you have selected image ads only. Try changing to image and text ads, and if the PSA ads continue, it could be a stop word issue.

AdSense stop words [google.com] - they cause PSAs.

definitely not that. I think I must have selected image only and there aren't any, I'm very suprised as they are very popular subjects.
