Reading this board I realise quite a few people are using click monitoring software. Can someone advise what this software shows, e.g. where the click went to, what the ip address of the clicker was etc.

The reason I ask is that I have just signed up with a new counter company and to my surprise they have a section which shows what page produced an adsense click, what copmpany it went to and the time of the click. So if you were on a low click website you would be able to tie up exactly what you received from what advertiser for a click through. Wonder if this is against the TOS?

Since it is very public and so easy to track, I'd guess it is not.

The "click through" software only knows when some links was clicked, and it strip the URL and shows you how many times that URL has been clicked (Also, when someone right click on a link).

It is not possible to make a match between that and what Google pays you.

clearly the free stats are better because I had one click through on a particular day I can then tie in how much it was worth and the free stats programme tells me the actual company url that was clicked. Obviously if you have more than one click it will only tell you which company/ies were clicked on
