So I decided to email Google back and ask them if they could explain why. As I waited for the automated email response I noticed that my site was being looked at by a Google AdSense reviewer. The time between sending the email and the Google reviewer hitting my site was very short! Around 1 to 2 mines at the most. They had a look round my site and emailed me back right away with the following message:
We review all publishers, and we reserve the right to decline certain applications. At this time, we may not accept all sites. As we grow, we may find that we are able to expand our program to more web publishers with a wider variety of web content.
Is this Google's way of being nice about not accepting sites? Or are they reducing the amount of sites they accept? Or are they only accepting certain "web content"?
I can see from my logs that they hit the site three times from where they get the link from in a small space of time. Whether this was three different reviewers or the same reviewer I cannot tell.
Although Google's response to my email was not very clear as to why they had not accepted my site I find the speed that a person checked and reviewed my site very very fast, even for Google ;)
Does anyone else has any other support stories about Google AdSense?
