And they were not showing again this morning, 5 minutes later they reappeared. This is very odd behaviour.
I did read a similar thing about this in another forum. This person (also on ie6) couldnt see adwords on google. Other people in the same office, same network, same os etc could.
<begin conspiracy theory>Perhaps m$ are testing an implant designed to attack googles revenue streams...</end>
The facts: Adsense ads are not showing every time in IE6. I check my sites, no Adsense ads, I check competitors website, no Adsense ads. Then later AdSense ads are showing again. Then, they disappear again.
Another fact: even if you see the ads every time, you are loosing impressions! I am certainly not the only one who is experiencing this problem, many other webmasters reported this. And I am not talking now about "normal visitors" who don't even know what is adsense and don't notice that ads are not showing.
My impressions are lower with about 15-20%. I'm not saying this is 100% because of this problem, but I'm sure that all of you will notice lower impressions.
The question here: What should we do to resolve this problem?
And I won't go telling my visitors to go through several painful paths just to see some advertising.
This is incredible. It did not happen to me until today.
I will wait one day or two to see if there is some annoncement by Google. Then I will email them asking to solve this asap.

It just happened to me again (checked several sites running Adsense and no ads appeared on any of them) and then two minutes later, they were all fine. I had not cleared my cache.
Because daily swings (and same day week to week swings) can be more than 5%, it will not be evident in your stats unless it starts happening to a greater extent.
I am also reading similar comments on other message boards. In fact, I posted a link to this thread on another message board yesterday.
That's a high class stupid reply from Google. I don't want to see the ads! I want my visitors to see the ads!
It is something like: "Hey visitor, just flush your cache and you will be able to see some ads that will earn me money! Don't forget to ckick them!"
They must fix this problem that it seems to have started a couple of days ago.
I'm emailing them right now.

My partner has IE6 installed and he can see the ads. I've just cleared the temporal files from IE and Norton Antivirus detected about three virus (trojans or whatever bad file they were).
After that, Ads started showing.
My partner didn't clear the cache and he sees the ads. I cleared the cache and three Antivirus alarms arose.
Perhaps there was an attack towards adsense starting a couple of days?
Well, perhaps this is a bit paranoic, but who knows...

Just wanted to bump this up to see if anybody found a valid reason for what was happening. Is "Just flush your cache it will fix it instantly" still the official G response or was something else involved?
