They explained how it works and how it benefits me even more. They suggested that i can block their URLs if I dont want them, but this can be tedious if you have hundreds of pages. They also added that if i really wanted to opt-out completely, they'd like to know it.

Maybe they are willing to work in case by case basis, or maybe they would say take it or leave it.

I have to wait and see for a week and watch the spiral movement of my revenue before i make a decision.

alika told you that it can be done from your end. You don't listen. Judging from your recent posts, I believe you need to go out and get some fresh air...

I think you should do what you are doing. Watch your stats and think things through. Sure you can go to the trouble of blocking advertisers URL's but if Adsense is selling a product (CPM ads) and they really are not in the best interest of you the publisher then you should persue this and see if they will let you opt out. They should know that possibly despite their best efforts a new program they have developed is not working, at least for some. They should be sympathetic to this situation.

For those of us that have massive crap traffic(well not massive but 30k/day), is there anyway we can make it easier to get selected for site targetted cpm? Is there a certain ad format that needs to be present?

I'd like to know the answer to that as well.

I believe that site-targetted ads can show up in any ad format. But read the AdSense and AdWords help files to be sure.

How do you know the differenct between a CPM and a CPC ad?

We recently had an image add that seemed to take over every page on our site. But in the reports, it looked CPC?

I believe it's cost per click and cost per thousand impressions.

How do you know the differenct between a CPM and a CPC ad?

With image ads, you can't tell the difference by looking at them. And Google doesn't break CPM ads out in your stats so you can see how they perform seperate from the CPC ads.

With the Expanded text CPM ads, it's a littleeasier because they look very different than the regular text ads. But expanded text ads look a lot like PSA ads, so there's still plenty of room for confusion.

Were basically left guessing about CPM ads on our sites at this point.
