Newbie question about using Adsense & CJ together

My website is on a very focused niche topic, so the affiliate ads I am using from Commission Junction are bound to overlap with my adsense ads...in other words, they might at times be the same companies. Is this a no-no? Do I need to block Adsense ads from the companies I am affiliated with through CJ?

I believe what AdSense objects to are dynamic ads that change according to the text. If you have hardwired ads from CJ for the same advertiser, that shouldn't be a problem (just my personal opinion). Theres no wording in the agreement that you can't run other ads from the same advertiser, is there? If anything, I'd say it would be the advertiser who would object strongly to not being able to advertise in multiple ways on your site.

I have found something in the program policies that has been forbidden before, I think,.

Labeling Ads
Publishers may not label the ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements." This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads.

Competitive Ads and Services
We do not permit Google ads or search boxes accessing Google search services to be published on web pages that also contain what could be considered competing ads or services. If you have elected to receive contextually-targeted Google ads, this would include all other contextually-targeted ads or links on the same page as Google ads. This would also include ads throughout the site that mimic Google ads or otherwise appear to be associated with Google on your site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads do not mimic Google ads. If you have elected to receive Google search services, this would include other search services on the same site and non-Google query-targeted ads. We do allow affiliate or limited-text links.

From T&C

If You have elected to receive content-based Ads, You further agree not to display on any Serviced Page any non-Google content-targeted advertisement(s). If You have elected to receive Search Results on any Site(s), You agree that Google will be the exclusive provider of Internet search services on such Site(s).

I can no longer find where the question you asked was directly answered.

I would rather play it safe and block all google ads from another network so I would not get bounced for double serving.
