completed a new site, logged into adsense account

is it best to track each page on your site or just put it on your site and track the whole site earnings?

second are you getting better results from ad units or link units?

IM confused with the channels part i go under MANAGE CHANNELS and it gives me 2 options

1. Manage url channels
2. Manage custom channels

Let say I wasnt too fussy about checking each page on the site but i did want to track how much the site was earning me from adsense in total would i just put the main domain url under the 1st one Manage url channels - create new channel
and then once addede do i have to acitate it or is it already activated?

last how long does it take now before you see results from people clicking for channels is it 2 days?

If you aren't concerned how much individual pages are earning, then there is no need to set up any channels. The only reason to use channels is to track the stats of an individual page or ad. By default AdSense will give you your total earnings.
