Hiya. First day with google ad sense. I don't get it.

Site 1
56 Impressions
8 clicks
eCPM: $7.32

site 2
1039 Impressions
15 Clicks
eCPM: $0.56

Why is the big site so low? I dont get this 'eCPM' concept. I earned twice the ammount on the little site, with only 56 impressions.

Do different ads pay different ammounts? Different sizes?

ALL DAY it seems like the eCPM is going DOWN, and I don't know why.

Secondly

The spider is displaying a lot of irrelevent adds. Is there any way without flooding my page with keywords, of 'guiding' the spider to display more relavant things?

Thirdly

A LOT of ads look relevant to the game we support. They really do. But when you click em, there just a bogus fake advertising page.

So I added them to my filters. But thats when things started to go down, too. Was that a bad thing?

You get paid per click. The amount can differ greatly.

It can take a while before targeted ads appear

Have you clicked on your own ads? That's strictly forbidden.

Whats the whole point of impressions then? Strictly for statistics?

They did. Our site is very popular with google. They had correct content the minute I added them to the page template.

But on pages that talk about 'weapons' for Warcraft III, it shows ads for security guards, self defense, etc.

Have you clicked on your own ads? That's strictly forbidden.

Forum users reported 'Get World of Warcraft Free' was a trick ad, and has nothing relevant to Warcraft.

It show mostly adds for Warcraft (that makes perfect sense of course.)

But I'd like it to show all kinds of games. Were a gamer community really. PS2, computer, buy warcraft, buy the expansion, etc.

More e-commerce adds, not just warcraft sites.

Does it look at keywords most? Content? Meta content? Page title?

What can I adjust to get more results.

To see the ads' destination do right click on Ads by google and "Open in a new window".

there, copy and paste the URLs they have

As for the bogus ads, yes that can be a problem!

Okay please.

I have one 4 ad skyscraper on the page template. So all the subpages get the sky scraper. I had two, cuz pages are long, but people said one ad block gets better ads.

Its a warcraft site.

ALL FOUR ADS are for World of Warcraft gold (gold in the game) for $$ money.

This is AGAINST Blizzard's policies (Blizzard hosts the MMORPG World of Warcraft). Particpating in a gold/$$ exchange results in the banning of both parties CD keys and online server access and violates Blizzards TOS.

Are these really the best four ads they can give me?
