I see on my site "ads by google" and ads by goooooogle". Does anyone have the same thing? Or is there a post that already answered this question?

They change it around all the time on most, if not all, web sites that use their ads. It's just Google trying to brand their self.

IMHO "Ads by Google" show up on high traffic sites only. At least that is what I have seen 100% of the time.
Is your site a high traffic site?

Whenever I put up a new page and view it for the first time, I will get "ads by Google". Once the spider has already checked the page, it will then becomes "ads by Goooooogle". Anyone seeing the same thing?

I"m not sure, but I was seeing the same trend on my sites - the more targeted the ads are (i.e., the spider has been by, multiple times usually), then it reads "gooooogle" - if the ads are mostly junk, it says "google".
Again - just personal experience - no scientific testing here :D

i have two ad blocks .. one says google, other says gooooogle ... so its not about spidering.

The anchor text (be it "Ads by Google" or "Ads by Gooooogle" etc.) is embedded in the link as the parameter "exp", so they're tracking something.
Now you've got to get into the mindset of a developer, and think what "exp" might stand for...

The new Disability Act forces employers not to discriminate against those mentally and physically handicaped.
A group of people at Adsense have stutters, so sometimes you get Google and another time you'll get Goooooooogle, I've yet to get Goggle but I'm sure the time will come.

I've always thought about it being an ongoing test as to which format will bring more CTR.
