Before it was statistic, now it's money

Since 1997, I know the effect of summer on the visitors statistics.

Now this has suddenly something to do with money.

Frustrated after a Saturday with 45% below May average earnings.

I think if its cold and miserable, people don't go out ... they shop online.

If it is nice outside ... we go out and shop outdoors.

I know that's the accepted parameter however it's 30C in the UK at the moment and I'm sure it's warm eleswhere however yesterday was what I would call a "normal" Saturday, the first one in weeks!

Don't ask me why, I have no idea, all stats went in the right direction for a change.

That's because we Brits couldn't cope with the extreme!

need to move into m-commerce Jettero - people always have their phones on them when they go out.

I wonder how long it'll be before your out walking around town and you mobile starts to show you special offers for shops as you are approaching them?

I thought that had been available in the UK for at least a couple of years?

I know I read about it however was it ever implemented by the likes of Dixons/Currys using Bluetooth/whatever?

Surely this can be done now with the program from the guy whose name we're not allowed to mention?

I don't know, never tried it but feel sure it would be possible.
