Account Not Active
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it is associated with an unapproved application. For more information about your application, please review the message we sent to the email address you provided with your application.

I am getting above message when I try to login into my adsense account. Can anybody tell me why?
I have not received any email from adsense as they mention.

Any chance that you misspelled any of your login info?

Also, an old issue if you're using the same account in an adwords pro login. You might want to try username+client@domain.com

I fear that I am banned from the adsense. But no email recived yet and my ads are also running at this moment. Any one who has faced such message please reply. I tried with username + client as well but it says that login name is wrong.

Thanks

Could be because of a post you made in another thread here :(

How this can happen. Its working for me. My friend registered domain and than post ads on it. He get banned from adsense becuase he generated too many impressions while testing/fine-tuning ads. We communicated with google but ir did not work. I taken domain from him and posted my ads on it and its running and giving me small money.

I got that exact same message, georaza, a few days ago when I tried to log in. Scared me for a minute, then I realized that I had not logged in correctly. When I tried to log in again, using the correct info, it worked.

Cornwall, great detective work!

If that is indeed the reason, then the moral of the story is: don't challenge the system; and if you do, don't broadcast it on the world's # 1 forum!

When you change your Adwords login e-mail it automatically changes your Adsense login. I almost got heart atack once because of this...

Mr. cornwall seems more closer to my though. Just to continue and sharing knowledge I am posting more details.

I contacted adsense about my login problem. I did not provided exact message I was getting. Today morning I got their response that the adsense system is under system maintanence and my account will accessable soon. But I fear that this response is not valid. Ac my ads are also stopped displaying. And this is ths case when account become banned.

Lets see when happen is couple of days. But the surprize is that google system did not email me about the situation.

In response to Mr. cornwall comments I like to ask others is this against TOS or not. Google should not display ads on the site which is banned even the publisher ID is different.

Thanks

Georaza,

This is the way I look at it - if Google would allow banned websites to post ads again once they change ownership, then banning websites would be pointless because a previous owner can simply 'sell' his banned website to someone he knows and he can continue operating (just like what you did with your friend). So the website that violated Google's TOS in the first place will be back on the web with their ads on it. Think about it.

Does this make sense...

Q: Have you previously applied for the AdSense program and your site was disapproved?

A: If your site was previously disapproved, our servers were instructed to not serve ads to your site. If that site (or another site associated with the same account) is later reconsidered and approved for the AdSense program, there may be a delay of up to 48 hours before all of our servers are informed of the change and ads begin appearing on your site.
