email from google adsense .. updates to the prog

everytime i get an email i worry

everytime i get an email from google adsense support, without even looking at the subject, my heart skips a beat and i start to worry that its something bad .. siggggh ... tonight it was only about new changes to adsense:
- New 'Settings' tab
- Ability to specify a payee name
- Expanded payment history
- 30 character limit for address fields

What settings tab? I didn't get this e-mail and my adsense interface doesn't show anything different...

While I understand the reaction, keep this in mind: We are exposed to a disproportionate number of accounts of warning notices and termination notices by participating in this forum. The anxiety that results from a notice from Google is more a matter of perception than reality - the vast majority of notices we receive will be innocuous, and most of us will never see a warning letter.

When I got my notice I followed the link to report problems. I got an email back within twelve hours that correctly diagnosed the problem.

As an aside. If you can't get to any adsense pages (https://www.google.com/adsense/*), then you should check your browser to see if ssl 2.0 is enabled. :)

it happened again tonight .. new message in my mailbox from "google" .. heart skipped a beat .. then "whew" .. it was just updated tax compliance guidelines.
