How to get the multiple google ads; how to same format?

I am using the rotating ad format. Does anyone have an easy way to get multiple adunits to use the same format in the rotation?

Also is there an easy way to detect the color the ad format is using?

The easiest way to do that kind of stuff is to use server-side scripting, where a script runs on the server (it doesn't matter if you're talking PHP, JSP, ASP, whatever) that serves up ads for the page that have the same set of attributes set. So you could modify the background color, set the channel, etc. Just make sure that what gets sent to the client looks exactly like what the AdSense management console generates.
