Max out Adsense?

Do you throw all your hits at Adsense?

I have a bunch of sites and I run a combo of Adsense, Amazon and other ads in rotation.

Lately Amazon has been looking worse and worse... should I just max out Adsense and dump 90% of all impressions into it?

Anyone seen a drop (without breaking TOC) by putting TOO many impressions into Adsense?

I'm running 95% adsense on one network of sites. The other 5% is just to keep my options open. No problems.

As with anything, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Don't go 100% with AdSense, because if something happens and you get booted from the program, you will still have a backup you can slide into place. You will want to still keep a 5% or more in another ad revenue program "just in case".

But there are many people who have completely dropped everything else in favor of AdSense. I just think it is smarter to have a backup plan ;)

From everything I have been tracking on Amazon, CJ and Google, Adsense is making me money while the other two are barely in the game.

I think I will bump up the numbers for Adsense and see if it can still perform at the levels it is performing now.

My advice is: maximize the one revenue stream that is making you the most money. Set your website in a manner that allows you to change between different ad networks with minimal coding.

Most of the other networks have no minimum. Want to play it safe throw then a couple of thousand impressions a month.
