Is 728X90 Image ad is equivalent to 4 text links?

I am asking about the CPC from that full size banner. How does google rewards you from the clicks coming from the full size banners? Do you get more money from the full size banner over the clicks from a single link?

I am curious, because I am planning to remove some CJ ads. I am getting over 200 clicks every day for so many months with little or no sale in a month.

I just cant take this anymore.

I don't know what you mean by the question, but kudos for removing CJ. I dropped them earlier this month.

Ebay started out very well for me, $20.00 per new registration and was getting a couple a day. After 6 months or so, all I was getting was 10 cents for each bid. My regular visitors already have Ebay accounts now, I guess. For 10,000 clicks, I was looking at under $400.00. Then, their system decided to not work one day for about 3 hours, causing all CJ links to be dead.

Bye CJ! Extra Adsense money, after the removal, was immediately apparent.

spaceylacie,

I mean, if i put a full size image ad versus the 4 text links which we normally use, when someone click that full size banner, do i get paid more or the same.

I am comparing CPC of the banner vs. text links, because CJ is just too hard for me.

I believe you get paid the same, depending on your site's current going rate... whether they click a full size banner or one of the 4 text links in a unit.

Not sure on this though, my default is text only.

spaceylacie, if i place 2 full size ad units and one full size image ad in a search result page, are they allowed?

I know you can put adsense in a search results page but i am not sure if you can have all three ad units in this page.

What about if i use Clicksor for the image ads and leave the two full size text links for adsense? Would this violate the TOS even the clicksor ad is an image ad?

Let me know what you think.

thanks.

"if i place 2 full size ad units and one full size image ad in a search result page, are they allowed?"

Are your search results allowed by Google? I emailed them about mine and got the impression that they were making an exception for me, because they are personally chosen results, within my niche. I didn't just crawl the net for them. Maybe they were just trying to make me feel special.

This doesn't make a differene, if Adsense is allowed, you are allowed 3 units.

This would probably be your best option. It's not against TOS. I found that 2 ad units on each page, instead of 3, works best for me.

Yes, i showed them that i pasted the search results in a page that were relevant in 2004.

By the way, this is what i was talking about when i asked you similar question before.

The search results are mine that i pulled from the database and pasted them in a page that has relevant contents, and added 3 ad units in this page.

However, this new page is different. The new page doesnt have a search box, no real text contents and no text links(directory). All i have in this page are 3 ad units adsense and my search result java script that i pasted. My question is, is this allowed?

As far as i know, it's hard to make good money if you are just relying clicks from the search results page in which people type in the keyword and will display the results dynamically.

What i did now, i pulled result from the database, pasted it in the page, and added 3 ad units adsense. This way, the searcher dont have to type in anything, because its already given in the page.

Based on what you know, is this legal?

Thanks by the way

Based on what I know, it doesn't sound legal. Sounds like a 'made for adsense' page. The only way to know for sure is to just email the Google Team and ask.
